Rather late to post this now, but looking at the precious gift, can’t bear to not share the story with u guys!
Just when i thought my brithday will be dull and unattended this year, it was made coloured with something special.
well, what i wanna highlight here is, after the “shit” incident that hitted me, at least he did somthing good in return. relationship between Alan and me was repaired. although so, i am still not in concensus of the way he shall treat me, lol… he is still very much in his ‘cool outside, hot inside’ attitude towards me, but what to do? “your brother is like that one” factor, i just have to accept the fact.
on 13th apr, 9pm i received a call.
“are u at home?”
“Yess…”
“u not going out?”
“nope”
10 minutes after we hung up, i received a SMS “mun, dun go out yah we are on our way to KL. we will be back to celebrate your birthday with u”
from Maple. wheee… last saturday the Fab had celebrated my birthday with me. we went to a korean BBQ dinner at Daorae, Puchong. i have also booked in advanced with yum yum, qiu, and tam. we will be going to Neway for a ‘K’ session on 14th night. i don’t have any plans on 13th night. juz thought of going to bed early for work the next day. never thought of celebrating 13th night with anybody. At least, Fab member Yuanie and Rachel had celebrated for me last saturday, and LiQiu, Yum Yum, and Tam will be celebrating for me on 14th night. What more do i expect?
at 11pm, A & M finally reached but i was about to fall asleep alr. never told me in advanced that they’ll fetch me out for a meal, should be SUPPER. thinking not to disappoint them, i still go out with them. we went to a Thai restaurant near my house, but was too full to cut the birthday cake there.
we brought home the cake, and was on time to cut the cake sharp at 12AM, marks 14.04.09. LUCY, HAPPY BRITHDAY!

one small tiny piece of cake for each of us. the cake was so soft, so tender, so nice. very fresh.
finish with the cake, Maple was asking Alan “eh… where is the present?”
“what present” ooo… a bit fierce. so serious somemore…
i said..”no present ma no lo… it’s ok. already very touched u guys came back to celebrate with me!!!”
after a few minutes, they went in to their room and Maple came out with a large PAPER BAG. stated at the bag was “Cyber-shot”.
i was uttering.. “WA!… Wa Wa Wa!!!” UNBELIEVABLE.
NO. it won’t be a camera inside. maybe they just used the bag to put something else instead.
YES. but when i looked into the bag… NO! Yes!! it was really a camera inside!!!
FLASH BACKS: once upon a day, i was having a dinner with A&M. Alan told Maple “see, she’s finally wearing the watch” he present to me on my 21st b’day. back then i did not wore it cos i have no occasion to. i only started wearing it when i went back for advanced diploma last year.
i said “yes. thanks for the watch. like u know i need it. but i will hesitate to buy one for myself.”
i continued…”hey, my birthday is coming up soon. u know what i need this time around? i need a camera!!! i want to have a camera…” (very obviously hinting him to buy one for me)
the next day, he brought Maple and Lucy to the store. browsing through some cameras on the shop. he asked me to see which one i like, and tell him. heard say, a friend of him is working with camera, or something like that. can try to get cheap price for me.
a week after, alan told me “it’s PC fair now. Never go see ur camera?”
I said..”huh.. not u buy for me meh!!!” was juz kidding….
“YOU WISH!!!!!!” so sacastic.
but see? brother is brother.
I owned a camera now!!

MIRACLES and surprises does exists when u least expected it.
So sweet of my future-sis-in-LAW for her attempt to come here all the way to celebrate for me!
and of course, w/o my COLD brother to agree, she cannot do anything also lo, right? sniffs sniffs…=))
